Impact Windows & Doors in Holmes Beach

Island wind code, salt air, and canal-front exposure all demand real glass. We install impact-rated windows, shutters, and doors across Holmes Beach, built to clear the City and outlast the salt.

Glass and Doors That Clear the City

In Holmes Beach, the windows have to meet code and take the salt. We install impact-resistant windows and impact-proof windows rated for the island's coastal wind zone, including impact-resistant vinyl windows and aluminum windows with corrosion-resistant hardware. When an owner or a rental manager wants a second layer, we add storm shutters and hurricane shutters for windows over the impact glass. It's protection that clears the City of Holmes Beach the first time and often lowers the insurance bill. Canal-front and beach-block doors take constant salt. We hang an entry door built to seal against wind-driven rain, replace front doors that have corroded and swelled, and set patio doors that open to the dock or the deck without failing. That includes Masonite impact doors, Therma-Tru entry doors, and sliding glass patio doors that glide wide and lock down tight in a storm. For owners who want a trusted name, we install PGT impact windows, too. One crew handles the whole opening, built for the island.

FAQs

Windows & Doors in Holmes Beach, FL, Questions
Do you install impact-rated windows and doors for homes in Holmes Beach?

Yes. Impact-rated windows and doors are the core of what we install in Holmes Beach, fit to meet the island's coastal wind requirements and clear the City permit.

Are hurricane impact windows required by code for Holmes Beach properties?

In most cases, yes. New and replacement windows on the island must meet coastal wind-load and impact standards. We spec glass that satisfies the code and handle the approvals.

What is the cost to replace windows and doors on a Holmes Beach beach home?

It varies with the opening count, the glass package, and the coastal hardware. We measure and give you one firm number. Financing is available if you'd rather spread it out.

How do impact windows help protect vacation rental homes in Holmes Beach?

They protect the whole home even when it's empty between guests. The laminated glass holds together on impact, so a storm can't blow the envelope open while you're off-island.

Can new impact windows reduce flood insurance or homeowners' insurance costs in Holmes Beach?

Impact glass often earns a homeowner's insurance credit in coastal zones; flood premiums are driven more by elevation. We can provide the documentation your carrier needs to review a discount.

Do you offer corrosion-resistant window and door hardware for Holmes Beach's coastal climate?

We do, and here it matters. Salt eats ordinary hardware, so we spec corrosion-resistant components that hold up near the canals and the beach for the long haul.

How long does a window and door installation take for a Holmes Beach home?

Coastal-rated manufacturing takes a few weeks; the install itself is usually a day or two once the units arrive. We give you the real schedule before ordering.
